S. A. Jamali & Co., established in 1948 by Mr. Shaukat Ali Jamali, is one of Hyderabad’s oldest and most respected law firms. With a legacy in constitutional and civil law, the firm was revitalized in 2013 by Mr. Muhammad Najeeb Jamali and now operates under a three-partner leadership, advising local and international clients in litigation, corporate, and advisory matters.
Mr. Abdul Rafay is an Associate and has been a part of the S.A. Jamali & Co. since 2024. Mr. Rafay has been assisting the senior partners in a range of litigation matters including in constitutional, civil, commercial, property and family litigation before various forums including the Honorable High Court of Sindh and Supreme Court of Pakistan. He is also involved in drafting a variety of legal documents, including pleadings, contracts, and legal opinions. He conducts thorough legal research analyzing case law, statutes, and legal precedents to support strong and well-founded legal arguments.
In addition to his legal practice, Mr. Rafay has proudly represented Pakistan at the International level by participating in the IBA ICC Moot Court Competition 2024 in The Hague, where he received an Honorary Award for Speaker in all three roles, and in the Jean-Pictet Competition 2025 in Bali, Indonesia. As a Public International Law Coach, he has trained and guided multiple teams from different institutions for National and International Moot Court Competitions, many of which have advanced to later stages and earned recognition.
